Olga “Olly” Karpenko

Olga “Olly” Karpenko is a Ukrainian visual artist from Kyiv, currently based in Finland. She works primarily with watercolour, monotype, ink drawing and composite works on paper. Direct observation and experiment are central to her practice. Her subjects include natural forms and the structures of everyday urban life, from plants, water and wildlife to railway stations, bridges and industrial buildings.

Recent projects include Ljutyj 2022, #KyivCityExpress and Helsinki–Kyiv.
